According to the Centers for Disease Control, each year approximately 310,000 children in the U.S. are lead poisoned primarily due to lead found in housing built before 1978 or due to lead in dust, fumes and even toys.

Picture 12, 400 school buses filled with young children placed in harms way and possible risk of brain permanent damage resulting in learning disabilities, school failure or even death.   However, it is entirely preventable
